Athlete of the year 2021

The eight athletes listed below have had an awesome year, Some have had break through Years, whilst others have won titles who will you vote for in Athlete of the Year 2021

Federica De Caria

Federica has been a consistent performer in 2021 having stepped up to race Elite, finishing 4^th in the Spartan Series Elite races and top 10 in all Nuclear Races, 32nd at Spartan European Championships and 28th Spartan World Championships

Jessica Haney

After suffering many major injuries and most of 2021 on the side lines recovering, Jessica went to Europe’s Toughest Mudder and took both the sprint lap and overall Female Title in a Hard-fought Battle.

Karen McQuarrie

In her first Spartan Race Year Karen dominated Age Group racing on the UK Spartan Series this Year by winning her age group at all the 4 events and taking National series Champion

Kate Stillwell

Kate has made nuclear races her own event in 2021, Winning the challenge cup, Nuclear Blast and Nuclear Rush OCRWC Qualifiers

Nicki Johnson

Elite Spartan UK & Ireland Series Champion with 3 wins from 4 events. Nicki also won the Super at the Spartan Verbier race the day after finishing as top female Brit in the Spartan European Championship with 11th place. Nicki
finished the season with a 27th place finish in the Spartan World Championships.

Scott Barker

Scott took third place in the Elite spartan UK & Ireland Series and also claimed 2nd place at Mudnificent 7 and 2nd place at the Nuclear Challenge Cup.

Sean Merryweather

2021 saw Sean win every Tougher wave he entered in 2021 and took sprint and overall titles at Europe’s Toughest Mudder
