Joanna Wietrzyk Sets New HYROX World Record in Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX
PUMA athlete Joanna Wietrzyk delivered a landmark performance at the 2026 CENTR HYROX Phoenix, breaking the HYROX Women’s Solo Pro World Record with an incredible time of 56:03—20 seconds faster than the previous benchmark.
The Australian star continues her dominant run this season, remaining undefeated across all three HYROX Majors, completing a flawless 3-for-3 sweep.
Wietrzyk achieved the record wearing the Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX, PUMA’s first shoe engineered specifically for HYROX competition. Built for the demands of high‑intensity hybrid racing, the shoe has now become a two‑time world record setter.
This year’s Phoenix Major was a milestone moment for the sport, hosted inside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona—the first stadium‑based HYROX race ever held in North America.
Reflecting on her performance, Wietrzyk said:
“Racing inside a stadium brought a completely different energy. Everything came together out there, and to set a world record in a moment like this makes it incredibly special.”
